Omega and the Porsche Club of America cooperated for the creation of the Speedmaster "Porsche Club of America”, an exclusive 99-piece limited edition.
A special version of the “Grey Side of the Moon” model that combines OMEGA’s latest innovations with the Porsche Club of America’s expert motoring knowledge. The watch, measuring 44.25-mm in diameter, pays tribute to the famous ports car brand as well as the world of speed racing. Crafted from polished and brushed gray ceramic, the case is finished with an exclusive plasma treatment.
Some of the hands and other details, such as the tachymeter wording, appear in yellow offering a perfect contrast against the ceramised Grade 5 titanium dial. This colour scheme reminds the high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes found on many Porsche sports cars, where the brake discs are grey and the calipers are yellow.
Equipped with a column wheel mechanism and silicon balance spring, the Co-Axial calibre 9300 automatic chronograph movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 60 hours thanks to two barrels. The 12-hour and 60-minute counter hands are placed on the same sub-dial at 3 o'clock allowing for an intuitive reading.
The watch comes with a driver-style grey leather strap with micro-perforations revealing an interior made from yellow rubber.
